About

Built for the patient, not the insurance plan.

Enhanced Physical Therapy is a Tennessee-grown clinic that two physical therapists started after a few years of watching the standard insurance model get in the way of good treatment.

Our mission.

Provide physical therapy that actually fixes the problem. Build relationships with patients and the communities we work in. Keep clinical decisions inside the room with the patient and the therapist, where they belong.

How we started.

Josh Wilson and Zach White met on the first day of physical therapy school at Tennessee State University in 2015. After graduation they both took jobs in traditional insurance-driven clinics. The work was good but the constraints were not.

They opened Enhanced Physical Therapy in February 2021 to do it differently. One patient at a time. The same therapist every visit. A plan that runs as long as your recovery actually needs.

What you get.

  • A thorough first visit with hands-on assessment.
  • One-on-one follow-ups with the therapist who saw you the first time.
  • A plan you can keep working on between visits.

How we bill.

Cash pay. No insurance contracts. You pay us at the time of service, and we give you a superbill you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows. That model is how we can give every patient a full hour, one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy. If cost is the question, call. We will be straight about what a course of care typically looks like.

Three clinics, one approach.

The team works out of three clinics. Gallatin covers Sumner County and serves as the home base for the golf program. Belle Meade sits on White Bridge Road in West Nashville. The Nations is a women’s health and pelvic floor clinic inside Music City Work Club led by Melissa McEnroe, DPT.
